نسبه: هو السيد الحبيب : حسين بن عبدالقادر بن حسن بن سالم بن محمد بن عبدالقادر بن حسن بن عمر بن سقاف بن محمد بن عمر بن طه بن عمر بن طه بن عمر بن عبدالرحمن بن محمد بن علي بن عبدالرحمن السقاف بن محمد مولى الدويله بن علي بن علوي بن محمد الفقيه المقدم بن علي بن محمد صاحب مرباط بن علي خالع قسم بن علوي بن محمد بن علوي بن عبيدالله بن المهاجر الى الله احمد بن عيسى النقيب بن محمد النقيب بن علي العريضي بن الامام جعفر الصادق بن الامام محمد الباقر بن الامام علي زين العابدين بن الامام الحسين الشهيد بن الامام علي بن ابي طالب وبن سيدة نساء العالمين فاطمة الزهراء بنت سيدنا محمد سيد الانبياء والمرسلين صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم . مولده ونشأته : ولد في الحجاز بمدينة جدة عام 1391 ه - 1971 م رباه ابواه على محبة العلم والعلماء والصالحين والاولياء .. التحق باحدى حلقات تحفيظ القران الكريم وكان ذلك قبل بلوغه سن الرشد .. اول كتاب قراءه وتلقاه عن اهل العلم: وكان في سن مبكرة مع عمره احب العلم واهله وكان اول كتاب قراءه وتلقاه هو كتاب " بداية الهداية " للامام حجة الاسلام الغزالي .. شيوخه : اخذ عن الكثير من اهل العلم والصلاح وعلى راسهم الذي رباه وغذاه واعتنى به الحبيب الامام عبدالقادر بن احمد السقاف ..واجازه والبسه.. والحبيب الامام احمد مشهور بن طه الحداد الذي اسلم على يديه اكثر من خمسمائة الف شخص ..واجازه والبسه .. والحبيب العلامة يحي بن احمد العيدروس .. والحبيب عمر بن زين عيديد والحبيب ابوبكر بن علي المشهور..والحبيب محمد بن شيخ المساوى السقاف والحبيب المربي الذي القى بزمامه عليه وتربى بين يديه الامام الداعية عمر بن محمد بن سالم بن حفيظ اجازه والبسه واذن له بالتدريس والدعوة الى الله تعالى ومن مشايخه فضيلة الشيخ المقرئ أيمن سويد • التحق بجامعة الازهر عام 1992تقريبا ودرس وتخرج منها من كلية الشريعة الاسلامية وحصل على درجة الليسانس .. • بعد تخرجه سافر الى تريم مدينة العلماء والاولياء وتتلمذ على شيخه الحبيب عمر بن حفيظ ودرس ودرس في دار المصطفى للدراسات الاسلاميه نشاطه الدعوي : وهب حياته للدعوة الى الله تعالى على منهج الوسط الذي هم منهج اهل السنة والجماعة فعمل عدة دروس ومحاضرات في مصر المحروسة للرجال والنساء والطلبة والطالبات سافر الى سوريا و الاردن واليمن وسنغافور وماليزيا والسعودية وعمان وباكستان ومصر وحاليا في الامارات ..وعمل في كل منها محاضرات ودورات علمية وتربوية وسلوكية على كافة المستويات من مؤسسات وجمعيات ومدارس ومعاهد وكليات وجامعات ومساجد وغيرها • يعمل حاليا في دائرة الاوقاف بدبي ..واعظ وخطيب جامع عبدالسلام رفيع • اسس الكثير من الدروس في ابوظبي ودبي والشارقه خاصة وغيرها من المدن والدول عامة للرجال والنساء • له موقع متميز وهو هذا www.hemmah.net

Birth and upbringing
Born in the city of Jeddah, Hijaz, Arabia, in the year 1391 Hijri / 1971 A.D, his father raised him on the love of seeking knowledge, love of the spiritual scholars, love of the righteous and saints of Allah. He attended one of the circles dedicated to the memorization of the Holy Qur’an where he memorized the Holy Qur’an before reaching his teenage years. The first book he read at a young age, while he was thirsty for knowledge, was read at the hands of the people of knowledge – this book was “Bidayatul Hidaya” authored by Imam Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali who was nicknamed “the proof of Islam”.
His teachers and sheikhs
He spent much time in the company of the people of knowledge, religious scholars and the righteous. It was with these kind of people that he was raised, nurtured, and protected under the guidance of Al Habib Al Imam ‘Abdul Qadir bin Ahmad As-Saqqaf, from which he was given the ijazah (permission to carry on the knowledge attained). He was also given special attention by and received ijaza from Habib al-Imam Ahmad Mash-hur bin Taha Al Haddad, through whom more than 500,000 individuals came into Islam. He was also given ijaza from Al Habib Al ‘Alamah Yahya bin Ahmad Al ‘Aydrus. He was also given ijaza from Al Habib Omar bin Zain ‘Aydid, Al Habib Abu Bakr bin ‘Ali al-Mash-hur. He was finally given ijaza from the the respected Habib Omar bin Muhammad bin Salem bin Hafith, who granted him the ijaza and gave permission to teach and call people to Allah, and also of his sheikhs, the respected Sheikh al Muqri Ayman Suwid.
Habib Hussein then went on to study at Al-Azhar University in Egypt in 1992 for six years in the faculty of Shari’ah, Islamic Law, from where he graduated with a degree in Islamic Shari’ah.
After his graduation he traveled to the city of Tarim in the Hadramawt valley of Yemen, which is known as the city of scholars and saints. There he became a student of Habib Omar bin Hafith, and studied in Dar Al Mustafa Institute in various Islamic sciences.
Religious mission and initiatives
His life has been dedicated to calling people to Allah and monotheism, using the mainstream, middle course, which is the way of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah (People of the Sunnah and the Majority). He initiated and ran various classes and lectures in Egypt for men, women and students of knowledge. He has traveled to Syria, Jordan, Yemen, Singapore, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman and Pakistan. Currently he is residing in the United Arab Emirates where he gives regular classes, lectures, practical life-relevant personal counseling, spiritual guidance on various levels, whether its at colleges, schools, places of worship, public lectures, social clubs, and so on.
Habib Hussein is currently employed by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of Dubai, as Religious Advisor and Preacher at Abdul Salam Rafee Masjid.
He also holds various private classes in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah for both men and women.
